Elearning Symposium.

May 15, 2002 UAE - An International Symposium on elearning was held on the 12th and 13th of May 2002 at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai. The symposium was organized, by the College of Information Technology (CIT) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates University.

Ad Astrum Technologies participated in this symposium actively. Our solution specifically designed for universities generated a number of enquiries amongst the visitors to the symposium. Our Solutions Manager, Mr.Pranam Ben delivered a highly relevant presentation, titled “Better learning habits in the GCC-Paths to a successful e-Learning implementation ”. His presentation was extremely well received

This two-day occasion was inaugurated by H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Chancellor of the UAE University.

The symposium was marked by a variety of activities such as seminar presentations, workshops, and panel discussions. Several professors and intellectuals of international repute like Prof Owen F.Gaede, Professor of Science Education from the College of Education, Florida State University and Dr.Anup Kumar, Director of Distributed Computing Laboratory, University of Louisville also gave their valuable inputs at the forum.
