To build a scalable e-learning platform that enables management of online learning entities – Administrators, Students, Courses and Online Collaboration.
AD ASTRUM deployed a complete e-learning platform offering online courses, demo capsules, animated illustrations apart from the learning environment, which has all the standard functionalities such as Glossary, Quizzes, and Student Tracking etc.
The solution was well accepted by the client and they are now in the process of migrating a lot of other subject courses onto the elearning platform.
The solution helped the client in developing an interactive educational course online and helps their students enjoy the experience of anytime, anyplace, self-paced individualized learning experience

Content Enablers (CE) is a Minneapolis, U.S.A based eLearning Solutions Company providing a scalable eLearning platform and a number of courses on varied kind of topics like International Trade and Commerce, Cultural Aspects etc. The end customers are corporates as well as individuals. CE has a unique business model through which it distributes content to corporates from its own site as well as through the corporates’ sites, while retaining the rights to the content. CE calls these affiliate corporates - ‘Private Labels’. These Private Labelers buy & utilize the CE content through their own site maintaining their own branding & thus keeping the end user (learner) opaque to the origin of the content.
AD ASTRUM designed and developed this eLearning Platform, which enables management of Learning entities - Administrators, Students, Courses, and online Collaboration. The platform was developed through a component-based architecture and is highly scalable.
The deployed platform is a complete eLearning portal offering AICC compliant courses, demo-capsules, shopping cart with online payment facility apart from the learning environment which has all the standard functionalities such as Glossary, Quizzes, Student tracking etc
The solution is well accepted by the client and they are able to secure further projects on the private label concept.

UNext.com is a Chicago, USA based company partnered with reputed Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon University etc. to provide online professional development and education courses to corporate employees. This first online learning community for working professionals is called ‘The Cardean University’, which offers lifelong resources for individuals to update their business knowledge and skills.
The work involved the development of various interactive educational courses, which enabled performing calculations on the fly. AD ASTRUM delivered around twelve such courses
In AD ASTRUM a dedicated team of about 10 people is working for UNext.com on the development of the courses. One Onsite Project Manager works with the client-team at Unext.com office to manage the project from Onsite location. AD ASTRUM has conceptualized, developed and visualized the storyboard; visuals etc using technologies like Adobe Photoshop, Flash 5.0, Macromedia Director 8.0, and Corel Draw were used

To spread the awareness of standards Regulations & agencies facilitating to deploy US American Standards across the world and to train personnel associated with NIST activities without the aid of instructors NIST aimed to develop a CD ROM based training, which could deliver their extensive data in a very appealing format.

Department of Commerce (DOC) is a US Federal Government body headquartered in Washington DC. Their activities are multidimensional and their employees need to be trained and updated in various skills related to their job.
Due to considerable instances of training requirements, that arose out of the need to impart orientation training to new comers in US CSI (Commerce Services Institute) department and refresher training to existing employees Department of commerce was forever exploring alternative means of training, such as Video Based, Distance Learning etc.
AD ASTRUM proposed eLearning as a means of delivering training with a great degree of flexibility and a very high return on investment to be delivered through their corporate wide intranet.
AD ASTRUM developed a framework for delivery of the courses (Core Competencies & Orientation) which would not only aid the delivery of the courses but also help in tracking the learner & his learning, giving the value added edge which was not available earlier. The employees, through the quiz & assessment module could be tracked of their awareness & assessed based on the result.
The Courses were developed in an optimum combination of Flash Animation, Video, Audio & Text making it a very ‘Learnable’ medium of eLearning modules to be developed considering the various types of contents, which can migrate into the framework
The solution was based on the Win NT Platform & was developed using Java & JSP with DB2 as the database. Macromedia Flash 5.0 was used to develop animations & video was delivered through Real Streaming server.
